Privacy Policy
Issued by Pranava, the parent company of Pranava Roots, in line with the policies published at pranava.co.
Your personal information is always kept confidential. This policy sets out what we collect from customers and how that information is used. We do not disclose your information to third parties except as described below.
Using this website means you agree to its terms and conditions. This policy applies to everyone who uses the site, whether or not you have registered or bought anything from us.
Personal information we collect
We collect the information needed to create an account, place an order or join a subscription or membership: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address, and the record of what you ordered.
Our system also collects the IP address of your computer automatically. This does not identify you personally.
We do not collect information about children.
Payment information
We never see or store your card details. Payments are taken by Razorpay, and card information never reaches our database.
How we use it
All personal information we collect is kept confidential. It may be used to:
- send you news about the website;
- count the number of visitors;
- monitor the website;
- understand the geographical location of our users;
- contact you with information about the website;
- give you a better shopping experience online;
- tell you about recent offers, if you have opted in to hear from us.
Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Some personal information, such as your address and contact details, is shared with courier companies and vendors so that they can carry out their part of fulfilling your order. It cannot be accessed by unauthorised persons or organisations.
We will disclose your information, including your name, city, state, telephone number, email address, account history and complaints, to law enforcement or other government officials where we are required to by law, regulation or other government authority, or in cooperation with an investigation by a government authority.
We may give aggregate information, such as website statistics or demographics, to sponsors, advertisers and other third parties. They are not given any of your personal information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files saved on your computer. We use them to keep your session and your bag working, and to count how often the site is used. Cookies do not keep any of your personal data: your name, email address, telephone number or postal address are not collected through them.
How we measure visits
To understand how the site is used, we record which pages are viewed, how long they stay open and which links and buttons are clicked. Each browser is given a random identifier, kept in its own storage, that is not linked to your name, email or account. We note the approximate location of each visit (country, region and city) from the network connection; your IP address itself is not stored. Nothing you type into a form is recorded. Visit data is deleted after 13 months.
Links to other websites
This website links to other websites. Once you leave it, this privacy policy no longer applies.
